Ansam Metals is dedicated to providing a safe work environment. Managers, supervisors, and employees are required to make safety their first priority. Recognizing certain hazards exist in the workplace, employees are protected through standardized safety procedures, mandatory use of protective equipment that meets or exceeds OSHA requirements, and ongoing educational programs for every employee. Our staff includes a safety and health manager and a safety committee elected by employees. All employees are encouraged to participate in recognizing and solving safety problems and work toward the development of successful solutions. All safety programs are reviewed annually by the safety and health manager, and are approved by the plant manager. Management commitment and employee involvement help maintain a safe place to work.
